Shohei Ooka (大岡 正平 Shohei Ooka, 6 March 1909 – 25 December 1988)

He established his position as a postwar author by writing his experiences and imaginations during the war.
His works are so detailed and has a stronger visual appeal that often cinematized above the times.
He was selected as a member of member of the Japan Art Academy, the national artistic organization, but refused it for the reason of that "He was a prisoner of war"
